22 Paseo Miraflores Las Catalinas – Everyone Loves it We Listed it

Well, 2021 has sure had an interesting start! With CoVid and high stress around the globe our associate Lotus Ellis could not be happier that she is living in Costa Rica on her Real Estate adventure. Her flat in Las Catalinas has just been completed and it is a beautiful 2 bedroom that we all love!. From the lights, that were purchased in Morocco, to the lovely kitchen and bath tiles and the furniture that arrives daily, it is soon to be completed! The project manager Diego was wonderful to deal with and he has made sure the changes and upgrades were installed and the slight design changes have made a significant impact in the final look of the villa. This seaside perch is a treasure chest.

Lotus found this destination 2 years ago and rented a friend’s beach front villa. Falling in love with the quiet beach, her sunset paddles, and the mountain biking she made the jump to homeowner! Only an hour drive from the Liberia Airport and a five-hour flight from TO it is a convenient location. Las Catalinas is a new beach town on the Guanacaste coast of Costa Rica. It is a quiet, family-oriented lifestyle development that is a perfect stay for extended family and friends. Having now visited twice, and also having just listed the property on LuxBay, I can say I have fallen in love with the place as well.

Las Catalinas offers detached Mediterranean homes, smaller flats and villas to clients that choose to become homeowners. These same homeowners use various rental agencies to keep the units rented when they are elsewhere. What I have been seeing a lot of in Costa Rica is homeowners choosing to vacate their lovely homes in high season to take advantage of the income streams. With Covid and the sheer amount of people leaving the larger cities in Costa Rica the ROI is quite healthy. There are shops, restaurants, a small boutique hotel, plazas, parks, and recreational facilities. This Mediterranean style town has full time security and no cars. The cobbled streets and varying architecture transport you to another world.

With Covid the exodus from the cities is not only happening in our Canadian cities it too is happening in Costa Rica. The village of Las Catalinas has been remarkably busy with families and young business owners choosing to move to remote areas so real estate is booming! This makes this new condominium even more desirable as the income stream has been supported with this new influx of people. This offering comes fully Furnished and turnkey. Staying safe in Costa Rica is made easier with the protocols put into place to manage the spread of Covid. Every place you visit has hand sanitizer and most everyone wears a mask on entry into an enclosed business. If there is anywhere you do business or purchase real estate internationally and one must travel safely and perform business, it appears that Costa Rica gets an acceptable grade.
